Our Intellectual Self

   How do we:

  • Learn to do new things?

  • Gather & process information?

  • Evaluate choices & make decisions?

  • Come to know ourselves?

We turn to our Intellectual Self, where we apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, scenarios and events.

It makes sense of the world around us, collecting information from a myriad of stimuli, processing innumerable bits of data, and choosing the appropriate action in each moment of our lives.

A Lesson Learned:

In our  too fast world, we often forgo critical thinking because it is inherently slow, but the Tortoise always wins the day
